WInter is another fun season at Edgewater Beach, and finding ample winter activites is just what the Destin Condo area has in store. There are a wide variety of past times that can fill your weeks here in Destin. A sampling of the many activities are listed here.
Fishing. Destin is widely regarded as the fishing capital of the south, let alone the world. Destin at its roots was a small fishing village and the chances of landing that big catch are even greater during the winter season when fewer anglers venture out. Bottom fishing is plentiful as the food sources are diminished during the winter months. Great fun can be found just off shore, or in a cove in the bay. Pick up your pole and find your favorite fishing hole.
Golf. There are a number of golf courses between Destin and Panama City. In fact there are too many to name. The area has some of the finest golf facilities and has ample grounds for your groups outing. If you want to play the back 9, or all 18, there is always a local game somewhere close by. SandDestin is ripe with beautifully manicured lawns and rich green playing surfaces. Come enjoy with us.
Treasure Hunting. Looking for treasure in or near Destin does not require going offshore in a boat. There are loads of fun thrift, consignment, and second hand stores that are chalk full of treasures. You'll marvel at the wide variety of stores boasting goods from every page of life. Its great fun and you never know when you'll come across that rare piece of treasure that you just can't live without. Get out your phone, and make a treasure map from store to store. The journey can last a lifetime.
