There are a number of fun family events happening around Thanksgiving time in Destin, and the Edgewater Beach Condo Resort will be an inspiration to all. Beginning on November 22, the 6th Annual 30A 10K Thanksgiving Day race will be held in Rosemary Beach. The event will span 3 days and will bring Fun for the whole family. There will be races for kids of all ages... from 1 to 92 and Beyond...!!
Later in the week on Saturday November 25, the Christmas Season kicks in gear with Santa's Arrival at HarborWalk Village in Destin. Santa will be visiting from noon till 4pm and will be offering treats and suggestions to be thankful for all the gifts we've received this year. Children of all ages are encouraged to come see Santa and to bring your cameras.
HarborWalk will have Fireworks, Baytown will have jamming music, and the Destin Commons shops will have gift specials galore.
