The 27th Annual Destin Triathlon (formerly known as the Elephant Walk Triathlon) will take place on Saturday, August 24th. Registration opened December 1st and will lure 700 participants for a half-mile swim in the Gulf of Mexico, a 20-mile bike ride along the coast, and a 4-mile run through Sandestin's beach and bayside community. Proceeds benefit Sacred Heart Hospital of the Emerald Coast.
