The 38th Annual Destin Seafood Festival Returns to Destin, Florida

September 30th, 2016 – Destin, Florida — the 38th Annual Destin Seafood Festival returns to Destin, Florida on Friday, September 30th through Sunday, October 2nd. This three day fall festival is a favorite tradition among locals and vacationers who visit Destin regularly. The festival is free and opened to the public.  

The Destin Seafood Festival can be likened to a three day party along the gulf. Live music sounds off three separate stages on the boardwalk. There will be art vendors, food vendors, craft vendors along with local Destin restaurants and bars all participating in this yearly event. 

Over thirty bands will perform on three stages throughout the three day festival. Local and coastal musicians will play a variety of genres from rock to reggae, country to tropical. Local restaurants will offer live entertainment within its walls to add to the festivities.

Destin area restaurants will be out serving signature dishes. Freshly caught local seafood will be prepared and available for purchase. Oysters Rockefeller from AJ’s Seafood and Oyster Bar, Fish Tacos from The Big Red Food Truck, and Buffalo Hot Wings from Land Sharks are just a few of the menu items featured at the event. Over fifteen restaurants will be participating in the festival.  

Arts and craft booths will be set up throughout the festival for patrons to peruse. Destin Seafood Festival posters and souvenirs will be available at the booth and online. There are two Kids Fun Zones. One geared toward younger kids and toddlers that will feature pony rides, a petting zoo and kid friendly games. As well as one that is geared toward older kids and teenagers which will feature Hamster balls, a rock climbing wall and zip line over the Festival.

The 38th Annual Destin Seafood Festival is located off of Highway 98 in Destin, Florida. The location is convenient for Destin locals as well as vacationers staying in a Destin, Florida condo. Festival hours are 4:00-10:00pm on Friday, 10:00am-10:00pm on Saturday and 11:00am-4:00pm on Sunday.
