The 37th Annual Destin Seafood Festival is Coming to Harbor Boardwalk

The 37th Annual Destin Seafood Festival will take place along the historic Destin Harbor and the Harbor Boardwalk on Harbor Boulevard off of US Highway 98. On October 2nd through the 4th, Friday through Sunday, patrons can enter free of charge and participate in festival events. Musical line-ups and food vendors as well as various activities have been posted for the event.

The Destin Seafood Festival offers live entertainment from the venue’s three stages. Destin City and Heron Harbor Stage will host local bands such as Continuum, Ben Friedman, Chris Alvarado, Hope Cassity and Déjà Vu throughout the festival. Harbor restaurants and bars will have a full line-up of musicians as well performing throughout the day and evening. Music genres will range from rock, reggae, country and tropical.  

Local seafood and signature dishes will be served by area vendors. Harbor restaurants as well as HarborWalk Village restaurants will be open for business during festival hours. Local Chefs will share their recipes such as Avocado and Seared Shrimp Bruschetta by Chef Jim Shirah from Dewey Destin Harbor Side Seafood Restaurant and Grilled Gulf Fish Tacos by Chef Brannon Kent Janca of Stinky’s Fish Camp. 

The Destin Seafood Festival will include three separate Kids Zones for all ages. Kids Fun Zone at Heron Harbor will appeal to older kids and preteens with a skim board and skate board workshop along with Captain Davies Pirate Village complete with a live mermaid for photos. The Kids Fun Zone at East Pass Marina will offer pony rides, a petting zoo and games geared to younger kids and toddlers. Free face painting and pirate tattoos will be available to kids of all ages.

A limited number of three day VIP passes are available for purchase now. Passes include access to private seating that overlooks the Destin City Stage, a copy of the 36th Annual Destin Seafood Festival Poster, VIP-only restrooms, complimentary food and refreshments as well as an exclusive raffle. This VIP section will be limited to ticket holders only.

The 37th Annual Destin Seafood Festival is sponsored by area businesses. The festival is located on US Highway 98 convenient to those staying in a Destin, Florida condo as well as area hotels and resorts. Festival hours as follows: Friday, October 2nd, 4:00-10:00pm; Saturday, October 3rd, 10:00am-10:00pm; Sunday, October 4th, 11:00am-4:00pm.
