The Emerald Coast Theatre Company is hosting the Inaugural Emerald Coast Lip Sync Battle on Thursday, October 29th, at 7:00pm. This first of its kind event will take place at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort and Spa in Miramar Beach convenient to Destin beach condos. The opportunity to perform live songs on stage is presented to all locals looking for their shot at fame.
Emerald Coast Theatre Company producer Nathanael Fisher is excited about the event. “Everyone loves a moment on stage”, says Fisher. The Emerald Coast Lip Sync Battle is sure to provide the opportunity. Solo, duo and trio teams are invited to compete for the Lip Sync crown. Social media is one of the avenues encouraged to use when challenging others to sign up and compete.
A panel of judges will give scores based on the following: originality and creativity, audience interaction and support, costume choice and appearance as well as dedication to performance. The top three contestants will then compete for the title of Lip Sync Battle Winner 2015. Each of these contestants will be given a song on the spot to perform in the final round. Prizes will be awarded for Best Costume, Best Dance Move, Best Solo, Best Duet, Best Trio and Overall Lip Sync Battle Winner 2015.
The Emerald Coast Lip Sync Battle Contest event will be complete with food and drink as well as plenty of entertainment.
