Digital Graffiti Lights up Northwest Florida Community

Digital Graffiti on 30A

Each year, the much anticipated event Digital Graffiti comes to Alys Beach and lights up the town. The world’s first projection art festival turns the walls and walkways of the 30A community from a blank canvas to a vivid visual celebration of art and technology. Artists from around the world come to project original works and showcase their unique talent competing for thousands of dollars in prizes. This year, the event is June 5th-7th with a Thursday night exclusive behind the scenes tour. Friday will include a meet and greet gallery stroll. The festival concludes with a poolside party at Caliza Pool on Saturday night with entertainment by VJ Amber Bushnell and DJ Nick James. This yearly highlight attracts artists, filmmakers, photographers, celebrities, and producers from all over for a weekend of live art experience.  For overnight stays, Edgewater Condo Resort can assist in finding the perfect beach vacation rental.

The outdoor concert series at Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village will continue each week in June. On Thursday evenings from 7-9pm, guests will enjoy live music by many different bands including LavaLamp, Alter Eagles, and Twelve Against Nature. Food and drinks will be available for purchase with proceeds benefitting Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation. Guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the outdoor performances.

HarborWalk Village has many activities and events scheduled throughout the summer to accommodate all visitors. The SummerWILD Children’s Camp has coordinated with Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge to offer a week of exotic animal education. From June 2nd-6th, kids can learn about natural habitats, talk with a marine biologist, and encounter wild animals in person. Each Tuesday night, the HarborWalk transforms with New Orleans style flair for a Fat Tuesday parade. Along with tons of floats and beads, live music and dancing will be enjoyed by all who attend. Rock the Docks Live will take place every Saturday night through the summer. The HarborWalk Village stage will showcase free concerts each week from 8-10pm.
