Wyland's Whaling Wall
Renowned marine wildlife artist Wyland chose 100 sites around the world for a series of life-size murals created to promote marine education and the
protection of whales and other endangered ocean life. Wyland’s massive Whaling Wall #88, depicting “Marine Life of the Gulf,” spans all four sides of The
Mid-Bay Marina and Boat Storage in Destin, at the south end of the Mid-Bay Bridge overlooking Choctawhatchee Bay. The Destin “wall” includes another
feature not visible from the ground: The entire roof of the facility is adorned with a mural of the American flag and the words “Thank You” and “God Bless
America,” salutes to the thousands of soldiers and support personnel who fly past the site from and to the area’s many major military bases.

historic mansion. Eden’s large lawn is often used for weddings, Civil War re-enactments and picnics, and it is the site of the annual ArtsQuest show. The
